Sweet wines are one of life’s indulgences. All too often an afterthought, sweet wines merit a more prominent position on our shopping lists and tables. The perfect way to end (or prolong!) a dinner party, a glass of sweet wine never fails to please. Furthermore, given the astonishing range of styles available, there has never been a more exciting time to buy. Corney & Barrow offers perhaps the world’s most exclusive sweet wine, Château d’Yquem, alongside other delicious Sauternes at modest prices. From Hungary’s rare Tokaji Eszencia to Italy’s Vin Santo and luscious late-harvest styles from Gascony, Germany and Alsace, there is much to tempt.
