France is such a rich wine-producing country with so many diverse and colourful wine regions, that it would prove unwieldy to dedicate an individual regional wine category for every single one. To do justice to these wine regions nevertheless, we have created a special section entitled French Country wines. The French Country wines section features some of France’s most delicious and idiosyncratic wine styles, including those from Corney & Barrow’s long-standing partner Producteurs Plaimont in rural Gascony, as well as well-priced organically-produced Bordeaux blends from the Bergerac wine region, also in south-west France. In this section you will also find the wines of Provence, whose creamy rosés and herby whites and reds bring further breadth and interest to this part of our portfolio.
