How does En Primeur work? A Summary. 

  • En primeur wines are purchased ‘In Bond’ – ie excluding VAT and Duty
  • After your purchase, you will be contacted by Corney & Barrow to set up an account
  • You will be informed when the wine arrives in the UK – up to 2 years after your purchase
  • You can then choose delivery / storage options
  • Wine can be delivered In Bond to C & B warehouse, and stored at the prevailing rate
  • Wine can be delivered to you (for free in the UK). Upon delivery you will be asked to pay Duty and VAT at the prevailing rate.
