Deep plum-cherry in colour, this presents a rather sombre façade initially. The nose offers a combination of dark fruit, wild blackberry, earthy undertones and stony minerality. The palate offers similar aromatics with black fruit supported by a firm, well-integrated tannic structure which will need time. Rather masculine in style, a controlled richness on the prolonged finish hints at a long future, which will reward the patient.
