Green-gold in hue, this is inviting and appetising from the outset.The nose here has a very individual personality - a blend of warm Danish pastry, stone and orchard fruit, with refined, mineral precision. The palate picks up the gauntlet, reflecting the aromatics proffered by the nose and setting them within a frame which is both opulent and restrained. Judicious use of oak adds further complexity and a little richness mid-palate - very attractive and, little-known as an appellation, something of an insider¿s wine.
