Deep plum-cherry in colour, this presents a sublimely decadent nose of sweet, concentrated fruit laced with violets and roses and complemented by fennel notes and cream. Both the nose and palate are dominated by dark fruit; wild blackberry, blueberry and cherries underpinned by earthy undertones and stony minerality. This Clos Prieur is rather masculine in style, with controlled richness and a prolonged finish.
