Meursault Sous le Dos d'Ane 1er Cru, Domaine Leflaive 2007 Wicked, green-gold colour. The nose is very pure, very clean with zesty fruit and creamy subtly buttery perfume. The palate is stylishly rich, flavourful and elegant, with excellent intensity and a fat, rich concentrated finish. Without doubt, this is in the running for the best Meursault so far.

Volnay 1er Cru Champans, Domaine Marquis d'Angerville In the heart of Volnay, this Champans wine is darkly coloured, presenting seductive wild black and red fruit. A pronounced, masculine assertiveness, initially, gives way on the mid-palate and finish to controlled, elegance. This is very good indeed.
