Lisha Nelson is the new winemaker at her father's estate; 2008 was her first vintage and this Sauvignon Blanc scooped the coveted Gold Medal at the Michaelangelo International Wine Awards. Green peppers blend with greengage and yellow plums, lifted by a refreshing acidity.

An elegant, fresh and easy to drink wine. Nicely balanced and has good depth. An excellent mid/early afternoon wine or else good with seafood. Very good value for money.

Enjoyable quaffer. Drank indoors on a cold, rainy spring evening - suspect much better at summer BBQ! Fruit and acidity in balance but a bit more of each would have been even better. Good for the price
