The Lane Vineyards is situated in the relative cool of the Adelaide Hills, giving wines of great finesse. This unoaked Chardonnay is a perfect example: ripe with delicious tropical and stone fruits, there is an underlying acidity keeping the wine fresh and vibrant.

I loved this wine and chose it as I didn’t want to buy the usual supermarket Australian Chardonnay where the oak tends to dominate the flavour and ruin my drinking experience. This wine really lets the stone and tropical fruits shine through. Its creamy and very sophisticated – plus it has a refreshing acidity which balances the wine. We had it with fish and it really complimented it. This wine’s a strong candidate to become a summer-time favourite.
