Serious, elegant and fine, this Cabernet Franc is made in tiny quantities from an ancient site in Saumur Champigny.

Grapes used in the production of this tiny Lieu-Dit (named vineyard) are grown on the site of an ancient, third century Roman villa! The 'Les Villaises' vineyard has a small outcrop of chalky soil, ideal for producing smooth and silky Cabernet Franc with fruit compote flavours and delicate balsamic notes.
