True Palo Cortado is produced unintentionally when a Fino or Amontillado sherry loses its protective veil of 'flor' in the barrel. A rare treat, Lustau's offering is simply delicious: delicate, hazelnut aromas similar to an Amontillado are beautifully balanced with rich, caramel flavours reminiscent of an Oloroso.
