Bourgneuf produces very pure wines which are both approachable and succulent in youth, yet will also age very well.

Chateau Bourgneuf lies in a single 9 hectare block to the west of Trotanoy. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, enjoy clay-rich soils. The sixth generation of Vayrons deeply respect their land so treatments are minimal. 2006 reveals concentrated, intense dark fruit, gloriously ripe and dense.
