Esperance de Trotanoy 2011

France  >  Bordeaux  >  Pomerol

L'Espérance de Trotanoy is essentially the little brother of Château Trotanoy. The product of younger vines, it reveals hallmark Trotanoy power, intensity and mid-term ageing potential, but is more approachable in youth.

An attractive plum-ruby, this presents a fresh, upbeat array of red and black fruit, both sweet and spicy, all underpinned by earthy minerals. There is good concentration and intensity, a pervading freshness and an aromatic quality which persists throughout the palate leading to a long, poised finish - really impressive and extremely good value.

Merlot blend, 2011, 14.0%, Cork, Medium bodied, Dry
