La Robignotte is a lieu-dit monopole, an outstanding parcel of old vines which produces intense, long-lived, pure Pinot Noir.

Clive Coates MW was kind enough to introduce Domaine Gilles Jourdan, in the village of Corgoloin. Gilles, an unassuming man is, understandably, fiercely proud of his tiny vineyard (5 hectares) and his very popular wines. Red and black fruit with mocha, kirsch and violet show in this Côte de Nuits-Villages La Robignotte.
