Chateau Barrail du Blanc is situated in Sulpice de Faleyrens on light, well drained, sandy soil - which, allied to a high proportion of Merlot, makes for early drinking, approachable Saint Emilion with instant appeal. 2006 shows pretty, playful fruit, elegantly extracted with firm structure underpinning a good, long, mineral finish.
