A fine Sicilian wine grown on Mount Etna from various parcels of old Nerello Mascalese - an indigenous grape variety - between 30 and 120 years old.
Andrea Franchetti has embarked upon an exciting new venture with Passopisciaro in Sicily. From this lively, volcanic landscape, he is producing wines which reflect the complex minerality of its soils, whilst maintaining a complex fruit profile and essential elegance.This is fresh with balanced acidity showing red fruits and stone minerality.
