Crystalline red berry aromas. The palate is juicy and elegant, bright and with vibrant small red berry fruit, lifted by fresh acidity. No new oak. Guillaume reiterated, “You must refrain from comparing this to Volnay” – so I will! 45% was aged in barrels and the remainder in large foudres.
