How this area, lying between Meursault and Saint-Romain, is coming of age. Historically, this was a “cool” appellation (in the weather sense) over which global warming has exerted a rather benevolent influence. Lovely nose of firm, ripe, yellow peach fruit. The palate is elegantly flavoured, intricate in structure and wears the solar richness of this vintage quite effortlessly. Nicely lifted, surprisingly long finish as well.
