The wines of Joh. Jos. Prüm are legendary, held in the highest esteem the world over, eminent ambassadors for the Mosel and, by extension, all of Germany. The Goldkapsel label is even more special. In fact the label (gold capsule) is not officially recognised by German wine law but is used by certain estates to distinguish the highest quality wines within their “special attribute” – Prädikat class – in this case Auslese, a wine made from specifically picked, individual, ripe bunches
