Founded in 2003, Mendoza Vineyards is located in Mendoza, the heart of the wine country. The young and dynamic team, led by chief winemaker Richard Bonvin, produces beautifully balanced wines with varietal purity and typicity of terroir. Their pristine Pinot Grigio grapes are planted across a variety of plots, high in the Andes mountains where they benefit from the excellent combination of intense, luminous sunshine and cooler-night temperatures.
This wine displays delicate pear and citrus flavours, underpinned by classic mineral acidities.
"A silky-textured, mineral Pinot Grigio, featuring light citrus blossom and soft pear characters. Grown at high altitude in the Andes foothills.

“Never mind its brilliance with Malbec, Argentina's white wines are on a roll too. Excellent chardonnay in particular is emerging from the country's higher (and, hence, cooler) areas. Rarer, but equally impressive, is classy pinot grigio from vineyards with similar conditions. Try, for instance, this example with its soft, floral, melon, peach and pear flavours invigorated by lime acidity and hints of sherbert but containing contrasting savoury touches, too.”
Argentina is one of the world’s most exciting wine-producing countries. Important both in quantity and in the quality and style of its wines, Argentina has much to tempt wine consumers of all palates and pockets. Its juicy, soft-textured, everyday-drinking wines made from European varieties such as Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are widely consumed both in Argentina and abroad.
