"65% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot. Average 55 year old vines on limestone and clay slopes. Herbal and violet-laden, with a wild strawberry and raspberry. There is a softness and approachability here, suggesting a wine that will not require long ageing. The extraction and cuvaison were even gentler and shorter than usual here, which is seen in the medium body and melded profile. 12.5% abv. 20,000 bottles were made.
