"From the Leoville Las Cases stable, Clos du Marquis is a separate vineyard, flatter with finer gravel compared to Las Cases. 45.5% Merlot, 44.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Darkly fruited, good density and purity, with cedary spice and firm, grippy tannins. There is more substance and weight here than usual, it seems. Very good.
