Chateau de Lamarque 2012

Chateau de Lamarque 2012

Dark, jet-plum velvet appearance, pure fruit immediately on the nose, cassis, berries and spiced, candied fruit. There is good concentration and an attractive focus, depth and length. The ingredients are really exciting and the notional blend really captures the imagination - atypical yet stylish and so fresh and pure with a protracted, layered finish.

"Pierre-Gilles and Marie-Hélène Gromand d'Evry push their terroir to its absolute limits. The investment they have made in the cellar and vineyards is extraordinary - way above what one would ordinarily expect of an Haut-Médoc producer. The results speak for themselves through their amazing wine."
