Chateau Dutruch Grand Poujeaux 2005

Chateau Dutruch Grand Poujeaux 2005

Chateau Dutruch Grand Poujeaux is densely planted on 90% Garonne gravels, 10% argilo-calcaire. At almost 50% Merlot, this is an unusual Left Bank blend. The tenacity and enthusiasm of Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier, currently at the helm, results in a very traditional style, firm and well-structured with dark fruits and mineral notes.

"Chateau Dutruch is a satisfyingly rich, structured, classical claret offering real quality at an accessible price."
