"79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot. Ripe blackcurrant fruit aromas, pure and with a gentle bitter chocolate richness. The palate’s cool dark berry fruit is framed by fine chalky tannins, with lifted crisp acidity. Stony minerality and a long, darkly perfumed finish. Love it. Cropped at 38hl/ha, compared to 34hl/ha average in the appellation. Average 38 year old vines. Picked from 7th September, the earliest ever.
