"From the Leoville Poyferre stable. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. Dark fruited aromas with a ferrous bite. Bitter cherry on the palate, whose grippy, firm tannins quickly assert themselves. This is a characterful Le Crock, which will demand some patience and should drink well in the medium term. Yields were around 50hl/ha. Harvested between 8th and 29th September. 13.5% abv.
