This forms part of the Leoville Poyferre stable. 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Brightly red berried, with sweet raspberry fruit on the palate and very firm, fruit-coated tannins. Lots of ageing potential.

"From the Leoville Poyferre stable. 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Crunchy raspberry fruit, very immediate and with bright, almost tensile acidity. High levels of firm tannins which have been very finely extracted. Patience needed here but lots of dense fruit for future ageing.
