"67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc. Deep, inky dark purple. Firm cedary spice on the nose, with plush raspberry, blackcurrant and violet aromas. The palate abounds in cassis and graphite, with tightly packed, dense tannins. Lynch Bages pulls no punches, which is really good to see in 2021. This outperforms the season. The fruit is just about a match for the massive tannins. The grand vin represents 65% of production.
