A very fine, blackberry-fruited nose, ripe and with a promise of sucrose-laden generosity. The palate is very delicately structured, with an insistent weight of tannin beneath the surface which builds in the mouth. Very fresh acidity ensures the palate remains lithe, buoying the blackcurrant flavours. The finish is where this really shines – long and tapering, so elegant.
