"92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc. Intense, elegant dark berry fruit aromas, with rose petals and peonies in second file. Cedary sweet spices. The palate is the closest so far to ethereal (uncommon this year) before very firm, fine tannins kick in and bring it back down to earth. Phenomenal matter and so much ageing potential here, in the richness of fruit, freshness of acidity and majestic tannic chassis.
