"66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. Cassis and fine cedary spice, with crushed rock mineral aromas and violet perfume. A lovely nose which builds and builds in the glass. The palate is chalky on the entry, with great St Estephe typicity, putting on weight and fruit density on the mid-palate, revealing beautiful blackcurrant and raspberry fruit and pretty violet aromatics, all framed by fine chalky tannins. Wonderful. Picked 2nd to 22nd September.
