<p>83% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc. Velvety, polished red berry nose with peppery spice, leading into a fleshy raspberry and blackcurrant-fruited palate with silky tannins – lots of them, to be sure, but they are poised and balanced by fresh acidity. A small percentage of amphorae were used for the first time in 2018. 32hl/ha. 14% abv. Harvested 19th September to 4th October. 70% new oak.</p>
"64% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Franc. Shiny dark cherry and blackberry fruit, with silky-smooth texture and a high level of fine, supple tannins which will ensure real ageing potential. A very elegant, seductive Nenin, with substance for the long term. Impressive.
