"85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc. A very attractive nose of bright raspberry and cranberry. The palate is fleshy and buoyant, a degree of whole-bunch fermentation making for an ample, aerien style. Rouget is something of an outlier stylistically but I love this daring approach which shows this special Pomerol terroir to great effect. Cropped at 30hl/ha. 14% abv. 30% new oak
