The vines here are 60-70 years old on average. 100% whole bunch vinified. Violet and dark pepper aromas, with a hint of sauvage. The palate is impressively concentrated, with pure dark fruit and particularly fine tannins. This is aged for 12 months in new and one-year-old barrels, then for 12 months in foudres.
