Intense plum-cherry, richly-textured and bright, this, initially rather shy, opens to reveal a supremely aromatic nose, red and black fruit, rich in cherries complemented by hints of fennel, mocha and earthy minerals, all refreshed by exuberant floral notes. The palate is rather decadent, luscious and seductive, silk -textured and perfumed, opulence complemented by super-fine, ripe tannins.
