"L’Aurage 2021 is 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, mirroring the vineyard plantings. Deep ruby colour. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry and cedary spice. The palate is juicy, with dark berry fruit and a bitter cherry lift. The tannins are tightly packed and powerful. Liquorice and dark chocolate on the finish, which has a winning crunch and definition, sustained by taut acidity. Picked 20th-22nd October – the latest harvest ever here. 13.5% abv.
