"40% Cabernet Franc, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot. Shiny blackberries, violets and cedary spice. The palate is so refined, silky and detailed, underpinned by lots of firm tannins, rendered so elegantly. Salty, focused finish, lifted by tensile acidity. 70% whole bunch fermentation, almost imperceptible but working to lift the fruit. 70% new oak and 20% aged in new 18hl foudres, averaging 90% new oak. 10% aged in amphorae. 13.5% abv.
