Lucas is the youngest son of Maturana Wines’ winemaker José Ignacio Maturana. When Lucas was little, he used to crawl out of his crib to eat the grapes from vines in the patio of José Ignacio’s house, fooling his father, who thought birds were the culprits. This joyful cuvée is named after Lucas, who inherited his father’s talent to find the juiciest of grapes. Rich and intensely fruity, with crunchy tannins, this wine is matured in French oak for 10 months, refining the palate texture and bringing subtle spice notes.
