Marsannay is a rather special appellation, just to the south of Dijon, increasingly grabbing attention for combined quality and value. This is from just 0.5 hectares of old vines, 85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Beurot (syn Gris) towards the sounth of the appellation. The parcels is named Grasses Têtes (fatheads) and makes for opulent wines with white peach to the more, underscored by minerals
