This is a 0.76-hectare parcel of nearly 50 year old vines in the southern part of Les Petits Musigny, just above the Clos de Vougeot. Flinty minerality on the nose, biding its time. The palate is immediately grippy and assertive, the sparse mineral tension and fine muscular tannins of Musigny making themselves felt at once. A strong sense of salty minerality. Wonderful wine, needs patience... All destemmed.
