Rosé, Rosado, Rosato… whether you’re drinking French, Spanish, Italian or further afield, this Saturday 9th June is the time to celebrate all things pink and made of grapes.
National Rosé Day is observed annually on the second Saturday in June in the U.S, and though only in its fourth official year, recognises what is claimed to be the oldest known type of wine (dating back as far as 600 BC).
Rosé comes in all shades and colours of pink, from a faint blush to a rich salmon derived from the length of skin contact from the red grape, and in all levels of sweetness, to be enjoyed on all types of occasion.
