Dark, intense, inky plum, firm to rim, this was initially a little reserved on the nose, opening up to reveal plum and cherry compote, refreshed by orange zest. The palate is much more gregarious than the nose suggests, offering really attractive fruit purity, red and black berries, dark chocolate cherry liqueur, silk-textured lifted and fresh with a heady dash of pepper. Mineral notes underpin the aromatics through to a long, layered stony finish.
