Organic Wine
Put simply, organic wines are made using organic winemaking principles. These vary from country to country, but can include restrictions on sulphite levels, and on use of pesticides and other chemicals.
Look out for the Bee!
The bee population is in decline. These much-loved insects are vital in pollinating our crops and wildflowers and this is no less the case in the vineyards. That’s why we’ve joined the National Bumblebee Conservation Trust to raise awareness of our new project “C&Bee”.
As Royal Warrant holders, we’re especially proud of the sustainable farming measures taken by many of our producers which protect the pollinators and follow organic and/or biodynamic practises to ensure long-term earth friendly crops.
Look out for the new C&Bee logo on our website, and across Drake & Morgan wine lists, the first of our lovely on trade customers to highlight those wines across their menus nation-wide.
