About
Their driving aim is to produce wines which showcase the intense varietal fruit and supple textures of which the area is capable. While much of Argentina is desert and rainfall is very low, the Mendoza wine region is irrigated by snowmelt from the Andes in springtime; this is effectively an oasis, capable of supporting vines.
Everything is done to respect the fruit: vineyard plots are harvested by hand and vinified separately to promote the purity of flavour from each site and add complexity when blended. A sustainable, environmentally-friendly approach is taken throughout the vineyard, and although the setup is young, the vines are all mature (approximately 30 years old), elements which both key to the quality, fruit concentration and pure flavours of these wines.
