Picpoul is an old Languedoc grape variety and it has grown here on the banks of Lake Thau, in sight of the famous oyster-beds of Bouzigues, near the Mediterranean for generations. The Domaine de Morin-Langaran vineyard itself was founded in 1330, has been the property of a religious order until it became a private property at the end of the 16th century. Delicate and refreshing, floral and perfectly balanced with hints of citrus and exotic fruits, this wine is approachable & satisfying. A great accompaniment to seafood!

    A superior Picpoul
    You can find cheaper bottles of picpoul de pinet in most supermarkets these days but you'd be hard-pressed to find one as good as this. Fresh and crisp with some fine citrus notes and, yes, a slight saltiness as the description promises. This is truly worth the extra pound or two over a less characterful picpoul that you'd find on the supermarket shelves.
