The domaine was established in 1868. The vineyard acquisitions were started by Jacques Prieur’s predecessors and continued by Jacques himself (1893 - 1965), who also went on to co-found the famous Chevaliers du Tastevin in 1934.
The Labruyère family arrived in Meursault in 1988 with established wine roots. Their Domaine Labruyère being thr oldest estate in Moulin-à-Vent. Building on the enviable
holdings amassed by the Prieur family, the late Jean-Pierre Labruyère and his son Édouard Labruyère, have taken the domaine to the next level.
In 1990, rising star Nadine Gublin was appointed Technical Director, a position she holds to this day. Nadine has
established herself as one of the leading winemakers of her generation.
As those who have met him will agree, Édouard Labruyère buzzes with energy and determination. He aims for the
very top – and these 2018s are a glowing testament to that.
