Glinting, green-gold colour. The nose is haunting with perfumed old-vine fruit, mineral, spicy, richly elegant. The palate is sonorous, even majestic in its supple weight but also possesses an intensity, a liquorous lift and poise that rivals les Pucelles, but with greater authority. An old blade but a perfect one with balance and profound length. Good wine.
