The Côtes de Bourg is one of the more attractive areas in what we loosely term Bordeaux. Its verdant landscape is a joy to the eye but represents a challenge to viticulturists – the vines going into hefty production mode. François Mitjavile and his son and daughter, Louis and Nina have the measure of these vines and prune dramatically, this improving the potential quality enormously
