Translucent, almost raspberry red in colour to the core. This is both lushly full fruited and focused. The fruit explodes out of the glass, ripe red berries and real lift. Lovely open texture with good invigorating acidity. Some mild spice on the mid-palate. Refined and uber-fresh with good length. Almost ridiculous value.
