The small appellation of Saint-Veran is one of southern Burgundy’s insider secrets, offering supple, well-structured, subtly-fragranced chardonnays with a mineral accent. This wine comes from a small vineyard called ‘Les Chatenays’, a world from old French meaning chestnut grove. Owner and winemaker, Nathalie Carrette's goal is to make a classic chardonnay that is lightly creamy, fresh and mineral.
"Fresh wine, with intense fruity notes of citrus, apples and pear. Creamy texture from lees ageing and lightly spiced."
