Planted in 1968, Clos des Godeaux comes from 1.61 hectares of south-facing vines, at around 300m elevation. Aromas of plum, rich raspberry coulis and apricot. The palate is pure and red-berried, with a touch of herby spices, sustained by fresh acidity. More substantial than the 2022, framed by ripe supporting tannins. 100% destemmed. One light pump-over per day, with one punch-down at the end of fermentation. Aged in barrel (no new oak) for around 10 months.
